Poon was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He started DJing at the age of 16. In college he graduated from radio broadcasting, which led to the start of his career in radio and the promotions. He gained his 5 years of experience at Clear Channel Radio. In 2010 Poon decided to move to New York to grow as a person and to pursue his dreams. His passion for music allowed him to become a resident DJ in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He shortly began to throw his own club events. After spinning in the club scene for a few years, he was able to land gigs for larger companies. He then worked with companies like MTV, Nickelodeon, Wild n’ Out, Facebook, Adidas, Urban Outfitters and many other brands. He has also Spun in various cities for festivals like, SXSW, Outside lands & GovBall. Since then he has organized fundraisers, night markets, & pop-ups. Aside from event planning, Poon has been involved in marketing and promotions. His creativity shows in his graphics, videography and photography. He also owns his own clothing brand too. Poon continues to follow his dreams and passion for DJing, event planning and designing. His main goal is to gain as much experience as possible and to inspire along the way.
