My name is Sabrina Almodóvar - I’m an illustrator and designer from Puerto Rico living in the D.C. area (Maryland!). Little Orange started as a nickname; being from Puerto Rico, but looking 100% Korean, I would often be called chinita - which can mean both little Chinese girl and little orange. Not actually being Chinese, being called “little Chinese girl” was mildly annoying. A friend one day jokingly started calling me little orange…and it stuck. Little Orange is made up of playful imagery that’s inspired by where I’m from, nature, space, and everyday things. My online shop allows me to create things I love and send them out into the world - hopefully making where they end up a little bit better.
