In 2017 Ru started her Instagram named “Doodleroo”.
The same year she realized she will not submit to the mundane 9-5 life.
2017, the year she became a part time freelancer for a set designer while maintaining a 9-5 job.
Fast forward to 2021, the year she quits her fulltime job to pursue a full time freelance creative in the middle of the pandemic. I often wonder what title I should introduce to others… illustrator? A curious floral lover? A set designer? but like I did not submit myself to monotonous reality I shouldn’t have to choose one title. I am simply someone trying to feed my curiosity with all the unknown creative opportunities that I am surrounded by, so I am Ru and lets all be curious together.
